Pretty day on board the bite me.
our first bite of the day was a sailfish
John quickly caught and release it for a North Carolina Saltwater Citation.
We pounded the grass, but only caught a couple of dolphin
A little later we had an awesome blue marlin in the spread, he was hungry and we eventually hooked him and he jumped all over the ocean taking a lot of line.
Matt did a great job on the big 80 wide. Matt is 13 years old and a rising 8th grader and expertly angled this blue marlin to the leader for a release and a citation.
fish probably weighed 350-400 pounds!
